Don't Forget The Happy

That daughter of mine…

Popped up…in Facebook memories…all Bashful…her sister…all Grumpy…their mom…her first time helping to direct…the high school spring play…such perfect timing…this photo…considering a conversation just held…the day before…this husband of mine…telling some joke about Snow White…and with that…a game began…

Can you name the seven dwarves off the top of your head…the listing starts…between spoonfuls of jambalaya for him…and tortilla soup for her…in the end…the two of us…could name…all…but one…got Grumpy and Bashful for sure…but the one…eluding us both…the one that should be the easiest…most obvious…was Happy…

And so it is…in life…how easy it can sometimes be…to forget…the Happy…to forget…to look for…the Happy……not saying those Dopey reasons for being Grumpy aren’t there…but it doesn’t take a Doc to tell you…when you look beyond the Grumpy…to those peeps of yours…some form of Happy…will be there…
