Got a surprise in the mail…had opened all her birthday gifts…wasn’t expecting anything else…what lay inside…brought tears…a heartwarming memory…sent by a friend…this old gal…and her bff Old Man Wrigley…one of the last photos…taken…

And it struck…how fortunate this old gal is…to be in a community…of kind people…a community of kindness…a kindness…community…

So many birthday wishes…sweet texts…delightful catch up conversations…thoughtful gifts bringing a smile…a day at the spa for old mama bones…a meal at a favorite place…a new giraffe friend…cute dish for queso crazy me…trendy accessories…and those puzzles…one a mystery…the other…celebrating those squishies of mine…

This kindness community…saying old gal…we see you…we care about you…and this old gal…says thank you…and surely…will pay it forward…broadening this community…of kindness…

Because everyone deserves…to be seen…to be supported…to be loved…
