Had a visitor this weekend…our very first…overnight guest…that daughter of mine…driving several hours…to spend her holiday weekend…with these two old folks…

Got a tour of the city…quaint downtown…beautiful river…stately homes…enjoyed the favorite hotspots…Pizza Ranch…Family Restaurant…Farm and Fleet…talked teacher talk…and more teacher talk…bonded with the neighbor cat…and binge watched…New Girl…

Oohed and Ahhhed…over Little Cottage…its colors…and cuteness…and commenting that Little Cottage…fits that personality of that mother of hers…even more so…than Old Pink…

But no doubt…this baby girl of mine…is the messenger for those sisters of hers…filling them in…on her observations…going something like this…

Little Cottage is cute…bigger than it looks…good neighborhood…nice town…lots to do…this mom of ours…is okay…has a DQ just up the street…and amazingly…seems to know her way around town…can surprisingly drive somewhere…and not get lost…

And again…we come full circle…the never ending worry of a mama…are they safe…are they happy…becoming that of her ladies…

Is she safe…is she happy…

Yes…yes…my dears…it’s ok…she is…
