This old gal…

Watched an eye make up tutorial…for old lady saggy puffy eyes…put on by some adorable old lady former model…wondered if the right make up…combined with the new clothes in the HOC colors…might turn old me…into…glam me…

Took it ever so seriously…watched the video several times…made mental notes…upgrade current dried up mascara…to new cool trendy brand…snuck away to the bathroom upstairs…feeling like a little girl playing with her mother’s pretties…three colors of shadow in four different places…angled just so…to disguise blobby lids…

Add eye brow pencil…then liner…somehow colored in between the lashes from under the lid…yea right…then…on to eyelash primer…since when did we prime eyelashes…since when was eyelash primer even a thing…

But hey…the white gunk works…like really works…made those old lady eyelashes pop out of the head…kind of flapped…with each blink…finish with mascara…then time for a photo shoot…wore a wow colored top…had the light hitting from behind…hid the wrinkly skinny lipped bottom half with the phone…(see what glamor shots by me did there)…

And OMG…that eye make up…took ten years off…and photo tricks or not…made this old gal…feel pretty…

So treat yourself…find something…do something…that makes you feel…special…pretty…dapper…take that glamor shot…and be proud…to be you…
