Met for coffee…before the big move…been friends a long time…the almost like a sister kind of friend…except this old gal is old enough to be her mom…but it still works…

I have something for you…she says…something to represent you…as you embark on this new journey…and there it was…a tiny purse…with big meaning…Be Daring…

Be Daring…can a scaredy cat…be daring…possibly…wintering in Texas…felt daring…a wedding in DC…felt daring…

Selling the dream house…feels daring…leaving the Burg after 60 years…feels daring…saying good-bye to family and friends…feels daring…

But it’s not that far…still in the state…just a jaunt to the east…near the Mississippi…nothing that a small drive won’t do…to bring this old gal…back to town for a visit…

And new home…is not Texas…Scaredy Cat is not that daring…Texas is for winters only…

New town…is my Mr.‘s old town…lots of friends…family…kids…grandkids…great grandkids…close by…

That sounds like a perfect place to land…for this daring old gal…
