Forgot…how much she loves the theater…was in plays as a kid…musicals as a teen…watched those daughters perform…high school director of the spring play…attended shows in Chicago…Hancher…Civic Center…for years bought season tickets…exposed those little ladies of mine…to a plethora of musical experiences…

And it was fun…so delightfully fun…but then…it stopped…don’t know why…empty nester…prices got pricey…just quit going…

Until now…that lovely friend of mine…making a suggestion…giving a poke…dragging this old gal off the couch…

Spent the evening together…at the theatruh…mesmerized by the performance of Come From Away…such a story…such a lovely night…such a lovely friend…

And so it is…in life…those friends…who know what you need…who reach out…make it happen…and don’t take no for an answer…what a gift they are…

And how lucky we are…to have them…
