A Pixie Dust of Colorful Sweetness

​This old gal…

Has always been fascinated with cake and cookie decorating…took a cake decorating course many moons ago…learned the basics…got the tools…enjoyed using those skills for some birthdays…

Crafty but not artistic…the decorating fun but not fabulous…once three little tykes came on the scene…decorating only occurred at Christmas with cookies…and sprinkles…of which…this old gal had to take a double take…while sorting through the oodles of random jars of fancy sugars and toppings…

In a glance…there’s little green sugar Merry Toppins…eating her big cookie…smiling happily…on her glass bottle of sweetness…and there’s Merry again…eating the same cookie…smiling the same smile…
BUT…she’s grown up…apparently going from glass bottle to plastic…she aged…became a teen…

And with the teen sprinkles…comes the back label angst…no longer is blue Merry sending pixie dust wishes and sweet smiles of imagination…but now…nutrition facts…and a petrified blob…of yellow frosting…

Green Merry had something there…sharing her smile…encouraging imagination…and spreading sweet love…with a little bit of pixie dust…

Lucky her…dodged the purge…no one should part with that…
